Plexis Healthcare Systems Integrates QuickBooks® into Claims Manager

Enhancement will aid accounting process of small enterprise clients.

Ashland, Oregon - May 20, 2003 - Plexis Healthcare Systems, Inc. announced recently that it has released an enhancement that integrates Intuit®, Inc. QuickBooks® accounting software into its Claims Manager System. This enhancement will provide a cost-effective accounting solution for smaller Plexis Healthcare clients. Already one of the most powerful claims processing software solutions in the marketplace, Plexis Claims Manager will now provide even greater functionality to payers, benefit administrators and health plans to facilitate accurate and automatic claims adjudication, referral authorizations, benefit administration, and contract management.

This new release provides an effective accounting solution for small enterprise clients with operations in the $10 million annual range. For medium to large clients Plexis offers a fully integrated version of the Great Plains Dynamics accounting software package.

Plexis Healthcare Systems' Claims Manager software was recently ranked number one in functionality for health plans with 50,000 to 350,000 lives in an independent survey of Managed Care Information Systems (MCIS) conducted by the AC Group, Inc. of Houston, TX. Fifteen leading MCIS software vendors were asked to respond to 542 questions covering 30 areas of functionality.
