Plexis Healthcare Systems Introduces WEBWorks

Web application connects providers, consumers, employers, administrators and vendors with Plexis Claims Manager's integrated database

Ashland, OR - January 27 - Plexis Healthcare Systems announced the introduction of WEBWorks, its new Web application for Plexis Claims Manager benefits administration software. Developed by TPABenefits, Inc., a company dedicated to providing web based solutions for today's plan administrators, Plexis WEBWorks provides easy-to-use tools that enable healthcare organizations to connect their claim adjudication data with other vendor interfaces, support consumer-directed health plans, and create detailed reports.

Plexis WEBWorks allows healthcare organizations to control both the "users" of information (members, plan sponsor, providers, agents, brokers, stop-loss carriers) and of the "content" they are authorized to view. By entering a registered name and password, medical providers verify benefits, check claims status and access the payment history of previously submitted claims. Authorized HIPAA ready privacy monitors access plan information including in-depth reports and plan documentation. Registered plan members and their dependents can access plan documents, PPO networks, medical claims, prescription drug information and links to specific medical research.

Plexis WEBWorks is designed as a complete web toolset offering a cost effective solution to all plan correspondence needs. For example, health organizations can manage a client's information and view client progress, sharing this information with all plan vendors. By making important information available over the Internet, WEBWorks improves customer service and eliminates unnecessary provider and plan member calls. WEBWorks is ideal for employer plan sponsors, provider groups and TPA services.
