Point-of-care Settlement Solution Offers Real-time Claims Adjudication between
Providers and Payers from Any Practice Management System

Ashland, OR - February 23, 2006 - Plexis Healthcare Systems, Inc. today announced the release of Plexis Direct, a desktop application that offers real-time connectivity between providers and payers to provide instant point-of-care settlements.

Plexis Direct imports claim data from virtually any practice management system, routing transactions to and from payers, including Medicare. Using Plexis Direct, healthcare providers can use the Internet to pre-validate claims, monitor the payer adjudication process, reconcile paid claims, run reports and send inquiries from a single, easy-to-use interface. Plexis Direct captures CMS-1500 and other required claim data, provides current coding advisories to make it easy for users to validate, edit, manage and track claims from submission to payment.
