Plexis Healthcare Systems, Inc. and Bloodhound Form Strategic Partnership

Partnership combines Plexis' robust benefits administration system with Bloodhound's advanced overpayment protection services

Ashland, OR - August 16, 2006 - Plexis Healthcare Systems, Inc. today announced that it signed a partnering agreement with Bloodhound, Inc., an application service provider specializing in medical claims overpayment protection services and medical billing data analysis. The Plexis and Bloodhound partnership will provide healthcare organizations with a benefits administration solution and overpayment protection service to existing and new Plexis customers.

Bloodhound's ClaimsGuardT service offers Plexis clients real-time processing in an ASP mode during adjudication, a comprehensive library of open-sourced edits based on national standards, and the most sophisticated technology based algorithms and duplicate logic in the market. The result is savings that other editing systems simply cannot match. Further ClaimsGuard can be configured on 60 parameters to exactly codify a payer's reimbursement policies. This increases auto adjudication rates as fewer claims have to pend.
