Plexis Healthcare Systems and FCG Software Services Announce $2 Million Application Development Agreement

Ashland, OR - August 7, 2006 - Plexis Healthcare Systems and FCG Software Services (FCGSS), a wholly owned subsidiary of First Consulting Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:FCGI) today announced the signing of a $2 million application development agreement to last throughout the remainder of 2006. Per the agreement, FCGSS has been retained to complete a next-generation claims management system - Quantum Choice.

Jorge Yant, founder and chief executive officer of Plexis Healthcare Systems, said, "After partnering with FCG Software Services over the past year, I have come to consider our FCGSS teammates to be an integral part of the Plexis team."

This most recently signed agreement is the next phase of an overall $3 million development initiative. Additionally, Plexis has invested several million dollars with FCG in core development work on their Plexis Claims Manager (PCM) platform.
