Creating Custom Forms On-the-fly: Here's How It Works

An agent sells the ultimate health policy that includes several custom components. When examiners attempt to enter the plan into the system, they encounter several roadblocks. For example, the plan calls for specific provider locations, but there is no field on the electronic form for provider locations.

With Plexis new processing system, the rules can be changed to add a new field on the form for provider locations in a few steps.

Step 1:

The form maintenance program screen below is used to add and modify forms. To add a field to the provider form, users select the frmProvider entry to display the provider form's controls.

Step 2:

Controls for the form maintenance program (shown below) allow organizations to select and modify existing fields or add new fields to the form.

Step 3:

Step 3: In the screen below, a new field named "MyNewLocationCodeCombo" has been added to the controls for the provider screen. This allows the new 'provider location' field to be added to the form.

In addition to adding a field for provider location on the form, processes can also be changed to reflect the addition of the new provider location field.

The new provider form below shows the new drop down box that was added to display the list of locations allowed by the new policy. This is only one example of the flexibility Plexis Quantum Choice offers.
