Every implementation is different, yet the Plexis staff are invaluable in several common areas of implementation. At the start of each implementation, Plexis Project Managers and Business Analysts work with key business/operations staff as well as IT staff within client organizations to lay out a plan for implementation success. The following is a brief summary of common stages within a typical Plexis software implementation.
Plexis Software Implementation Outline
Each client implementation of a Plexis product suite (Plexis Claims Manager in this example) encompasses unique situations and requirements; however, at the base of each implementation is a core set of steps/tasks we follow to ensure project success:
- Base Plexis Software Installation
- Discovery (Analysis of Client Workflow and Systems)
- Initial Application Setup/Configuration Training
- Enhancement Identification (gap analysis, including EDI, conversion and Reports)
- Development Prioritization
- Setup Analysis (additional training as necessary)
- Design of Enhancements, as necessary
- Application Development/Custom Reports/Custom EDI, as necessary
- System Setup & Testing
- Processing Training (Claims, Capitation, Premium Billing, Referrals, etc)
- Data Conversion
- Acceptance Testing
- Cutover/Parallel Processing
- Post-Cut Review/Modifications (as necessary)
Please note that not all steps are required for a given client implementation and multiple steps are often performed simultaneously.
